Contract: Must be returned by January 7th 4pm.
Entry Fees: $100 per team / $200 Per School Made Payable to Lake Orion Athletics (included in contract)
Lift Tickets: $5 off the regular season rates which are: $59 ( Teens 13 to 19 yrs.), $52 (child 9 to 12 yrs.) and $70 (Adult 20 years and older). 1 coach ticket for every 10 racer tickets purchased.
Bibs: Each school needs to supply their own bibs.

1:40 Start of Round 1 (8 heats / 16 runs per gender = 32 runs) Alternate G/B
2:00 Start Round 2 (4 Heats / 8 runs per gender = 16 runs Alternate G/B
2:20 Start Round 3 Semi Finals ( 2 Heats / 4 runs per gender = 8 runs)
2:45 Finals (1 Heat / 2 runs per gender = 4 runs)

**$9 All you can eat pizza buffet, pop and cookie. Please e-mail coachdelzer@gmail.com with "count" by Thursday. You will pay at registration.
Team Entry:
Each school may enter one team consisting of (12) Skiers in each gender for the qualifying Placement Race. The top four skiers from each school in each gender will be entered into the Duals Tournament.
Each Team is expected to provide one (1) gatekeeper for Placement Race and one (1) gate keeper for the for Duals Tournament.. We are hoping our parents can fulfill all positions but incase we will ask one volunteer from each school.
Run orders to be emailed to coachdelzer@gmail.com by Tuesday, January 19th, 2016.
Lift Tickets:
Please contact Nubs ticket office prior to arrival with lift ticket count. Nubs will organize a team packet to pickup form will call window. One payment is preferred.
Will Call: Will Call window at the end of the hall next to the entrance door by the Green Lift. They can check at the Front Desk if they need direction to that access door.
Parents:
We will be racing on Birch (AM) and Race Arena (PM) both filter to common finish area (above the purtple lift) There is a warming house located in this area that will be available (not exclusively). Non skiers are welcome to walk up.
Race Format:
•4 teams
•Up to 12 boys and 12 girls race in the time trial race
Placement Race (12 racers x 2 genders x 4 teams x 3 runs = maximum of 288 runs)
•One GS course (22-25meters) for boys and one for girls
•Each racer takes 3 runs (on same course)
•Best single time used to select top four racers for each gender for each team
•Ties broken first by second best time and then by third best time. If all three times match, a coin flip breaks the tie
Duals Bracket race
•2 courses set (14 - 18m Paneled)
•Racers are paired by results of Placement Race and compete head-to-head for two runs, each racer once on each course
•Racer with best combined time for the 2 runs advances to the next bracket
•Pairings are based on team scores calculated from the Placement race best times (team ties are broken by the place of the 5th racer)
Awards
Medals will be given to Placement Race Champions and 1st through 3rd place dual individuals.
Team Champion Trophy will be given.
